"Creating Color & Concept Boards is my favorite part of the process.  I keep them up as a reminder of my initial vision. They really help keep me focused and become the roadmap when I am creating artwork and merchandising the collection.

It's still so exciting to see it all come to life; from Mood Board to garment! "

The following illustrations were created holding this philosophy as the inspiration.

I have learned so much about myself and the world throughout my years leading a corporate Employee Resource Group.  I discovered my passion for community and giving back.

I want to make sure that those who come behind me don't have to go through the same struggles I did.  It is so important to bridge the gaps and make sure we build environments that are inclusive to all.  I often think about a quote by Verna Myers, "Diversity is being invited to the party; inclusion is being asked to dance."  We all deserve a world where we are asked to dance.
